A few months ago I published a post about including my three year old in her older brothers’ math lessons (you can read it here). Sometimes, however, including her just isn’t possible – I need her engaged in something else that doesn’t include ripping up the carpet or pulling apart a decorative tassel on a lamp to find out how it’s put together.
In my article for Secular Homeschooler magazine, I outline four of the best ways I’ve found to satisfy my little one’s need for stimulation so I can focus on a deep dive with another child.
Grab your copy here and, as a contributing author, I get 50% of the sale! This volume includes inspiration for nature studies in the winter, an examination of what it means to homeschool ‘successfully’, and encouragement from a lot of families who are loving their homeschool life.
Man, I just spent an hour drooling over the beautiful spreads in this magazine and I’m totally inspired by some of the ideas and stories of the homeschooling families! <3
